Library organizes book exhibition every year as a regular activity for the staffs and students.
C) Automation
     For the automation of library we have purchased the SOUL software designed and developed by INFLIBNET ( Information and Library Network, Ahmedabad)
D) Internet Facility is available in Reading Room at Free of cost
E) Best Reader Award
            The Student who read all kind of books, magazine, news papers regularly, one who follows the all library rules sincerely. Communication with library Staff and  his / her behavior in library has considered. The Student has awarded with the Best Reader Prize, who has fulfill above conditions,

Objective of Library

 
  • To develop the reading habits and personality of the students.
  • To improve and shape the library users.
  • To guide students in the selection of reading material for curricular and co- curricular studies.
  • To enhance students vocational efficiency and carve him into a self –reliant individuals.
  • To prepare students for lifelong self education process.
  • To help to complete the objective set by the college.
  • To support the student and teachers in their classroom learning and teaching.
  • To inform users about new arrivals at least twice in a year.

Library Functions

 
  • Orientation for the newly admitted students.
  • Book-Bank Scheme for the economically weaker and needy students
  • Acquisition of Books
  • Processing, Classification, Accessioning and Cataloguing of Newly Purchased books
  • Displaying new arrivals books
  • Circulation of the books among staff and students
  • Holding a book exhibition
  • Offering Reading Room facility on Sunday ( During Exam period)
  • Charging and discharging books to the students and staff members
  • Making news papers and Magazines available to the Students
  • Provide suitable reading atmosphere for students
  • At least two meeting in a year one in each term.

Library Rules

  • Identity Card is compulsory while entering in the library.
  • Two books will be issued (i.e. One Syllabus-Test books and one for general reading) to every student for home lending for 7 days.
  • After 7 days student should return / renew the date otherwise fine Rs. 1/- per day will be charged.
  • Students should take care of the books. Please do not mark on any page or do not tear the pages of the book.
  • Total silence is compulsory in the reading room. The student disturbing the library environment in the reading room will be fined Rs. 50/- or punished.
  • Students are requested to switch off their mobile phones when they are in the library or college premises. Those students who default on this requirement will have their mobile temporarily confiscated.
  • Please return the books on fixed days otherwise students will have to pay charges.

Distribute the work to the library staff members
  • Provide the list of books published to the Teaching Staff
  • Collects suggestions from the teaching staff members
  • Approve these suggestion from the principal for order
  • Classify and accession the newly purchased books
  • Catalogue the accessioned book i.e. data entry of the books
  • Display the newly arrived books
  • Managing the library budget of each department and inform them about balance amount
  • Periodically organize the Library Committee Meeting
  • Provide the reference service to the staff and students for literature searching
  • Controlling the students in the reading room
  • Journals, magazines subscription and renewal
  • Overall managing the library collection and services
